  • Biennial Conferences. These have been held over a long weekend at places such as Kingfisher Bay on Fraser Island, Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast and at Kooralbyn Resort in the Gold Coast hinterland. The conferences have been an opportunity to update on the latest medical treatments, investigations and technologies available on the Sunshine Coast in a relaxed family atmosphere.

 

  • The annual Christmas function is the highlight of the Association’s year. This social occasion is held in early December and is an opportunity to relax and be entertained.

 

  • In September each year the Nambour Hospital Spring meeting includes a conjoint dinner meeting with the SCLMA.

                                                       

  • The Association maintains strong links to the local division of General Practice and to the Nambour General Hospital. Representatives from these organizations are on the SCLMA committee.
