Membership

Membership of the SCLMA is open to Medical Practitioners residing or practising on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Prospective members must be nominated by two financial members of the Association. The application must also provide a current Medical Registration Board number or, if retired, a letter of good standing from a colleague. The SCLMA is required under State legislation to inform prospective members that it does carry Public Liability Insurance. Public Liability Insurance is no longer compulsory for registered associations in Queensland. The SCLMA's level of coverage is $10 million.
